This is a series of three alien cross sections. These lil guys were inspired by the illustrations in my biology textbook. I wanted to create something that looked like it came straight off the desk of a mad scientist! The process of creating these pieces began with a collage made up of old dictionary images, graph paper and other vintage papers. Then the sketches were transferred with iron oxide, inked and then finished with watercolor.
